This is a multi-player card game, perfect for memorising language devices used in GCSE Language paper 1. It requires at least 2 students to play.
Print front and back setting, and in colour and laminate for best results. Cars are divided into “language” and wild cards. From language, one card player must challenge another player to guess the language device by reading the definition or example. For the wild card the player can use the 3 words given to form their own example for the other player to guess. If the player guesses wrong on any of the plays, he/she must take the card. The game stops when there are no cards left.
