These five lessons were designed for my Year 8 class studying ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
The lessons use extracts with a mix of modern English and original language in order to introduce students to Shakespeare.
This scene of work covers - The Prologue, The Capulet’s Household, The Capulet’s Party and Romeo and Juliet meeting.
There are a number of analytical and creative writing tasks which are scaffolded along with challenge questions for more able students.
