This lesson was designed for a KS3 class studying Philip Pullman’s play adaptation of ‘Frankenstein’. We also consider short extracts from the novel (quotes about Elizabeth).

In this lesson students use hot seating to explore Elizabeth’s character in greater detail. There is a language analysis task and a drama activity with a scaffolded reflection for students to copy and complete.
