
This resource is a student work booklet on Civilians in the First World War, including Paper 1 exam practice. Students analyse the impact of the war on different groups of civilian populations, explain how the war affected them, and describe the changes experienced as a result of the conflict. The booklet contains structured activities to build knowledge, analysis, and exam skills. Whilst designed for Cambridge IGCSE History (Depth Study A: The First World War, 1914–18), it is also suitable for other exam boards that cover civilian experiences during WW1. No textbook is required to complete the activities.
