A series of lessons from ‘Faith in Action’ unit looking at how Christianity supports the local community & world wide community. Specific focus on Salvation Army, Trussell Trust and Christian Aid. The second lesson is an independent investigation into a worldwide charity. This aligns with Curriculum for Wales; ensuring students become ethical, informed citizens of Wales & the wider world. Also develops the skills of independence. Students can work in small groups or alone. Can also be used as an assessment (assessment criteria included) - students can be assessed on presentation.
