
A lesson taught to Y12 about HIV including its perception and links to place profiles. It includes:
- Gap fill activity on the basics of HIV/ AIDS.
- Questions based on gap fill activity and map of HIV prevalence.
- Graphing activity on HIV rates in Thailand.
- Reading activity and follow up questions about how Thailand reduced HIV rates.
- Stereotypes table for students to make general assumptions about the health of countries (not related to HIVAIDS).
- Following reading activity to see if stereotypes have some truth in them.
Please note all APKs/ starter activities are based upon my school’s SOW so may need adapting before use.
