This is an excellent resource containing a comprehensive, 10-page glossary of all the key terms used in higher and further education, with each term clearly defined with examples. This could be used in a secondary school PSHE lesson involving careers when teaching pupils about further study options to give them a flavour of what’s involved in higher and further education. It would also work well as part of a taster session delivered by colleges and universities and could be adapted to become a collaborative learning activity where pupils are provided with the key words without definitions and work together to define them. Finally, this would be really useful as a handout for any sixth form student considering applying to university.
