Information slides that track how retail has changed over time but where are the tasks? Unfortunately there are no ready to go lessons in this despite being sold as a 6 week unit of work.

Hi, I’m sorry that you could not find tasks. On both the PowerPoint and the accompanying workbook there are three activities which require sorting in a timeline how retail has changed from market trading to shopping malls, a venn diagram to identify where we tend to purchase items and an activity on the rise of online shopping. This section is an introduction to retailing only before it moves on to the fashion industry. We found when we ran this in school that it took 8 weeks in total to cover the content, including the upcycling of their old clothes.
