Find and Fix the Mistakes
Markus, a young German German-speaker is hoping to find a penpal in his partner school in the UK.

He has drafted a letter but it contains a LOT of mistakes.

Can you help Markus improve his letter ?

Read through the letter first to get the gist of it, then set about identifying where the errors are and, if possible fixing them.

If you find a mistake but aren’t sure how to make it right, underline / circle / highlight where it is so that you get credit for finding it.

The mistakes are sometimes spelling-mistakes. Other times they are mistakes of punctuation. Occasionally there is a factual error. Markus sometimes also puts his words in the wrong order.

You might want to use a dictionary (unlike Markus, who clearly didn’t) !

This exercise can be used in class or set for homework.
Differentiation is included.
