APPROX HALF TERM OF LESSONS

How are we connected to the world around us?

A complete scheme of learning with class theme notebooks - including QR codes and hyper-links to additional resources. The booklet has welsh translations for keywords, which can be easily removed if not relevant. The work can be set independently, or taken through in lessons. The PowerPoint allows this to be clearly displayed on any format in the classroom.

Teacher’s notes with answers also included for ease of delivery.

Map skills include:
Interpretation of map, latitude and longitude, map symbols and creation of maps.

The focus allows coverage of map interpretation, grammatical and factual checking, connections of Wales with the rest of the world, food miles, map symbols and the imaginative creation of maps and landscapes.
