This resource pack for 2-3 class periods, allows students to discover or build on knowledge of core and organising concepts in GCSE or IGCSE Geography. It would work in a revision class, or a stand alone class to get students to think conceptually. The worksheets guide students through terms found in core concepts like: Place, Earth Systems, and those in organising concepts such as Time, Interconnection, in a simple way that they can link to topics they’re studying now.
Note that the Geographical Association mainly refers to ‘key concepts.’ As the terms ‘key words’ are used, I’ve instead referred to them as ‘core concepts.’
