This is a sample of five topics from the OCR GCSE Computer Science course and it’s designed for ‘first time teaching’.
This pack contains:
- A full lesson with objectives, knowledge retrieval starter, exam practise, concept map, new information which includes videos that lead to in-class discussions.
- Activities that support the objectives of the lesson. Answers provided.
- Self-checker tool - A link to duplicate copies of multiple choice quizzes done in Microsoft Forms which can be copied and send to your students.
- Knowledge capture - A skills audit to allow students to RAG their level of understanding, a teacher feedback and student feedback section provided. At the back is a set of exam-style questions for each topic which gives the teacher a snapshot of their understanding.
- An outline of the teaching for Block 1. This is information for the student with extra information on delivery of content, something that could easily be transferred into a scheme of work.
