I was hoping for some literary extracts but these ones are on newspaper reports / conversational transcripts etc. Not much use to me, unfortunately.

Sorry you were disappointed with this - this series of lessons was an introduction into the topic, however the other 3 series each have two assessment papers with relevant literary extracts. I would be happy to email you with a range of these mock papers for free to compensate you if you send me your email address.

Hi - I bought the first four lessons recently and they look great. Did you use any particular articles for lesson 1?

Thank you so much for your feedback. For lesson 1 I used a range of newspapers from that day (including tabloids for differentiation) and allowed the students to select their own articles. I was pleasantly surprised with what they discovered for an introductory lesson!
