Florence Nightingale is a great individual to study as part of a history lesson due to her lasting impact on healthcare and understanding the spread of diseases. Not just a caring nurse but a brave woman. This is aimed at children in KS2
Included are;
-A timeline format version for children to show where in her life the events took place, on a timeline, showing further historical skills.
-A storyboard activity sheet with events of her life already in chronological order.
-A blank storyboard activity sheet with the events of her life are in an easy-to-cut and stick format (alternatively, they can be used as writing prompts), leaving space for illustrations.
-As a bonus, I’ve included a ‘Vocabulary for Historians’ writing mat, which aims to support students with their ability to use more historical vocabulary within their writing.
