Paddington Bear Takes London – Fiction Reading Comprehension (Upper KS2)

This engaging and visually appealing reading comprehension is aimed at Upper Key Stage 2 students and follows the beloved character Paddington Bear on an imaginative adventure through London. The text has a strong British cultural focus, highlighting iconic London sights and landmarks, making it both educational and enjoyable.

Students are encouraged to work independently, applying a range of VIPERS reading skills (Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explanation, Retrieval, and Summarising). The resource also includes grammar-focused questions to reinforce SPaG objectives.
