Second of six lessons n a unit of work planned for the citizenship classroom introducing students to different aspects of society in which they will live their life. This lesson focuses on some very extreme examples of families and how society would be impacted if all families were like these examples. The lesson aims to help students understand the importance of the role “normal” families play in society. Students learn about Tom Green, polygamy and feral children.
Planned for KS4 classes but easy to adapt to suit your needs.
