This is the second lesson of a 4 lesson unit of work called “Parliament and the UK’s Democracy” whereby students will gain the knowledge of the UK’s political system, its major parties and parliament.

• Video task explaining the UKs electoral system
• Task data analysis of a constituency (I chose the constituency of the school I work at but this can be modified to become personalised to your school)
• Evaluation task asking if the voting system is fair
• End and send task taking part in a mock election to understand how votes are cast
