This resource relates to the AQA specification for GCSE (UK) exams from 2018 onwards. A categorising task is used to classify impacts of deforestation into social, economic and environmental groupings. The lesson then investigates both the positive and negative economic impacts of deforestation through a card sort task. An annotation exercise to describe the causes and impacts of soil erosion. The effects of deforestation on climate change and loss of biodiversity are also considered.
