This is a series of 4 lessons that covers the concepts of change and continuity in an accessible and engaging manner.
Each lesson has a distinct focus
Lesson 1 focuses on superstition and looks closely at the belief in witches in Europe.
Lesson 2 moves on to the Scientific Revolution and whether this was enough to rid Europe of superstition.
Lesson 3 looks at the Great plague as a case study and asks the question whether there had been enough change since the Black death to deal with the plague better
Lesson 4 concludes this short but engaging enquiry. It leads the learner to assess whether enough had been done to lead to conclusive change overall. There is an optional assessment which can be adapted to fit internal assessment procedures in your department.
