KS3 English lesson on speeches and speech analysis that looks at imagery and language techniques in a speech by Suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst. Students analyse Pankhurst’s speech to the people of Conneticut in 1913 and compare it to one by Malala Yousafzai. Differentiated resources and worksheets are provided thhroughout. Useful for English Language lessons but also for KS3 as well. May be useful for AQA English Language Paper 2 Section A exam preparation.
