Nice lesson structure but are you sure that the dees in a cyclotron provide a magnetic field? I thought that the particles were accelerated by an alternating electric field from the dees with the centripetal force provided by a perpendicular magnetic field.

Having looked it up, I believe you are right. I honestly forgot about this resource as I no longer teach Edexcel, so apologies for the error.
