A new range of PowerPoint resources aimed at assisting teachers with the delivery of the Cambridge International A-level Business specification. These slides are designed to support the delivery of 7.2 Business Communication. The slides commence with an analysis of the purpose of business communication before examining the main types of communication used by business: written; spoken; visual and digital. It next examines the different channels of communication, looking especially at one-way and two-way communication and also vertical and horizontal communication. Barriers to communication are then assessed and ways of overcoming these are also assessed. The presentation then concludes with a look at the role of management in facilitating effective communication and focuses upon informal communication and also how business efficiency can be improved through the use of effective communication. The slides contain the Quick Fire Five questions and also a practice extended answer question (both with suggested solutions).
