This is an intermediate-upper intermediate (CEFR B1-2) powerpoint lesson on discussing sensitive and taboo topics in emails. Students will discuss taboo topics in their own culture and how it differs from western cultures. Students will also learn some vocabulary for taboo topics before learning about the importance of avoiding legal liability in emails related to sensitive topics such as breaches of contract, disciplinary action, and HR complaints. There are productive activities students can do and the template is editable, allowing you to recycle the lesson with new examples and exercises.
