In this bundle of lessons, students gain an understanding of all the B design theory content of the IB DP Design and Technology course at SL level. This content makes up one-third of the total theory for the entire SL course.

Lessons include objectives, keywords, engaging activities, videos and real-world examples that students can relate to. Lessons culminate in a task where students consolidate and apply the key theory that they have learnt so that they are prepared for any IB DP assessments.

Lessons cover the entirety of what students need to learn for this topic:

B1 People: B1.1 User-centred design.
*B1.1.3 UCD Personae covered by - A2.1.5 UCD Design development persona scenarios (crossover in content).

B2 Process: B2.1 The design process, B2.2 Modelling and prototyping.
*All B2.2 covered by A2.2 (crossover in content).

B3 Product: B3.1 Material selection (single lesson).
*Material classification and properties covered by A3.1 (crossover in content).

*Crossover content is included in the A bundle (so as not to sell the same resource twice). Lessons are also available for individual sale.
