I'm a former class teacher. My resources were originally made for use in my class, but sometimes I get asked to develop stuff for other people. I'm happy to make spreadsheets in particular!

Pupils are asked to calculate the value of the question mark, whether that鈥檚 a length or an area. Five puzzles are included with illustrated answers.

The only things to remember are:

  • Area = length x width
  • Promotes the use spatial reasoning to find helpful relationships
  • Integers (whole numbers) are all you need. You can always get the answer without using fractions.

I made this for my Year 6 class as part of a revision session. It is pretty challenging!
