Here is my first attempt at some model answers for the May 2025 Paper 1 Language exam where the extract came from The Midwich Cuckoos. As extracts go, it was quite tough but the juxtaposition of Oppley and Midwich was something I really focused on.
I have attempted two high level responses for questions 2-5 with a slightly different approach for each. I have placed them side by side so students can easily compare them and see which structure they prefer.
These are just the model answers for questions 2-5.
I have not included the extract or any of the wording of the questions themselves.
