Hi,
The pages are protected, so it asked for the password when I entered the students' names on the attendance tab.

Hi Indraponnural, the name spaces on the attendance sheet are not locked for you to enter names but the rest of the sheet is locked to prevent changes being made to the formulae and layout. Once entered the names from the attendance sheet in columns B and C between rows 5 and 44 will ripple across to all the other sheets automatically to so you do not have to keep on re-entering them. If you have further issues please email me a copy of the spreadsheet and the exact problem you are having so I can resolve the problem for you. The sheet does work even with the locked cells. The locking is there to protect the integrity of the formulae and to prevent accidental alterations which would then mess up the whole spreadsheet. john_leather@hotmail.com
