Second lesson is unit of work aiming to improve students communication skills in a variety of ways.
In this lesson students are made aware of the difference between listening and active listening. They are asked to identify top tips to ensure that they become active listeners and things to avoid to ensure the person they are speaking with can be heard. Students then apply this to scenarios so that they can see the benefit of active listening in everyday life.
