This lesson is a revision lesson designed for A-level Geography Tectonic Hazards Revision (suitable for both AS / A-level) that covers an overview of tectonic hazards.
The Tectonic revision lesson is suitable for all exam boards at A-level / AS. (Edexcel, Edexcel international, Cambridge and AQA).
The revision covers the variables that effect them and a detailed task on mitigating and preparing for tectonic hazards in which students identify and annotate photos/figures.
**Task breakdown: **
- True or false. (20 minutes)
- Explain and expand on tectonic disasters (30 minutes)
- Identifying and annotating mitigation techniques using figures (1.5hr). ****
The lesson could be done in pairs too.
