I made this booklet as a support and guidance resource for my own Year 10 Spanish students - all taking Higher Tier. You may find it useful to use or adapt.
It contains:
- a detailed guide to the format, the mark scheme and how the marks are awarded for each part of the Reading Aloud task, including the follow-up questions.
- two ‘sample’ candidate responses and the marks they would be awarded
- eight mock-up sample Reading Aloud texts presented as exam tasks, followed by four questions in the style of the exam
All of the resource has been produced based upon the new GCSE Speaking guidance as I understand it from the AQA training attended).
