Badminton Peer Assessment Sheet

The sheet can also be adapted and used for recapping TP’s. Gym Risk Assessment
Sports PE Risk Assessment - Gym
Risk assessments are a critical component of ensuring safety in sports and physical education (PE). These assessments involve identifying potential hazards, evaluating the risks associated with them, and implementing measures to reduce or eliminate those risks.
Key Components of a PE Risk Assessment:
Identifying Hazards: Analyzing the environment, equipment, and activities to pinpoint potential dangers.
Evaluating Risks: Determining the likelihood and severity of harm from identified hazards.
Preventative Measures: Introducing controls such as proper equipment checks, appropriate training, and clear safety guidelines.
Monitoring and Reviewing: Continuously observing practices and revising assessments to adapt to changes.
A well-conducted risk assessment ensures a safer environment for participants and reduces the chances of injury or accidents during physical activities. By fostering awareness and preparation, educators can focus on providing engaging and productive PE sessions.

Handball Jump shot assessment card
This is ideal to use at KS3 or could be used at GCSE level if you're introducing the students to the sport. The QR codes have links to relevant short videos. Fractions is also included to tick the numeracy box. The levels can be altered to suit your school's current assessing structure.
24 Risk Assessments in P.E
These are twenty-four fully completed risk assessments for P.E. They cover different locations, such as the field, sports hall and gym. The risk assessment calculates the likelihood of a risk, severity and level. This resource will save you valuable time as they have already been completed.
Tennis forehand and backhand peer assessment
A resource created for non-performers during Tennis, but can be used as a peer assessment sheet.
Athletics Sprinting Peer Assessment
Sprint start resource task card. Provides a back to back task and peer assessment element for a reciprocal teaching method. You can print and laminate these to allow for reuse.
Swimming assessment cards
Can be a useful peer assessment tool when laminated and pupils are taught how to use it. Took me a while to produce so just have a little read through to check its ready for printing. Is a good start but you could easily make some improvements to fit your needs. I have started to make some for other sports and i will try and get them up soon.
AQA GCSE PE Interactive Data Tracking Assessment Spreadsheet
This interactive spreadsheet helps you to record all the progress of your students. Practical scores, theory unit tests and mock exam results as well as coursework. All the percentages are figured out for you and it will estimate what grade the student is likely to achieve. A fantastic resource for you as the teacher. You can keep on top of your class, whilst being data rich to inform your line manager, headteacher and parents. Intervention dropdown lists are included so you can prove what your strategies are and the impact they have had. The spreadsheet automatically colours in the cells in red, yellow or green to inform you of what needs to be improved.
A great resource to get the most out of your group and help you to keep checks on the student’s progress.
Instructions are attached as a separate document. Enjoy!!
Rounders Peer Assessment Sheet
A great way for students to assess each other's batting technique in rounders. This can be easily modified to fit in with your current 'assessing without levels' format. If laminated, these can be used again and again and wiped clean after. A simple 'tick' checklist allows students to see where their strengths and weaknesses are.
New OCR GCSE PE assessment spreadsheet
I created this resource to keep track of my GCSE PE students progress.
Once you put the detail of your students in the Group details the spread sheet does the rest of the work.
* It keeps track of the students practical scores and figures out their 3 best sports (individual and team sports)
* Input all students exam marks, it gives the students overall scores, the question averages and class figures to help with easier class assessment for learning
* Keep the AEP (coursework) marks in order
* Seating plan with all student details available (SEN, TG, PP etc...)
* All grades 1-9 are provisional and used within my department (easily alterable for your departments needs)
* Works out students overall scores and grades for all 3 elements put together
* Locked the formulas to protect

Detailed Assessment Criteria created for reporting for each Year group. You can use these statements to enter into your schools reporting system. We use them against the criteria WT/WA/E and our system then produces targets for parents and pupils to work on to get to the next level. All targets written so you can lift from document/amend and use as you wish.
Bright and bold! Big questions for lessons and all about the whole assessment elements in PE not just skills.
Assessment that can be used across your range of activities.
HPL linked as we are a High Performance Accredited School but this can be modified, removed or adapted to your school. This document can be fully edited to add your own information.
Hours spent creating this and developing an excellent all through assessment worth sharing in Physical Education. We have been using this assessment for the last 3 years in the school. The kids now use the terms Head, Heart and Hands and our school has allowed us to report on all three rather than an overall grade and therefore gives a better picture of the student in PE.
Parents understand the importance and impact PE can have . Can share with parents at parents evening or online within your schools assessment so they can see the overall impact pe can have.
Great if you are starting a new department or want to update the way you assess your curriculum development.
15 Years of experience and lead for assessment in PE.
