There is a strong focus on exam question practice and knowledge retention.
The homework set for students will be based on revision for class quizzes (which you can run as a competition) and also longer written answers to exam questions based on content which the students have learned in previous lessons.
To support the students’ studies, I have referred to the Oxford Book 2 in these lessons. It would be useful to have a class set.
Otherwise, the powerpoints are self contained and can be taught by a teacher at any level of experience and to students of varied ability.
Lesson 1 is a lesson about Micro-climate, what it means and how we could conduct a fieldwork around school.
Lesson 2 is the fieldwork lesson
Lessons 3-5 are the write-up lessons (this may take less or more lessons dependent upon ability)

Wordsearch Puzzle sheet of keywords on the theme of ‘Desert Islands’.
Powerpoint so can be used on the board or printed as a worksheet.

Ideal for the start of a lesson, a quick filler, a homework, part of a cover lesson or as a plenary on the board with a whiteboard pen.
The idea behind these is to get students to become more literate and think independently about the words that could be used to describe the topic being taught. The repetition of the word over and over as they look for the word is useful in remembering the terms. Often the students will pick up on things that you would not normally expect!
This is a full scheme of work for Topic 7: Superpowers, that I have used for four years with great success. I have edited and improved it during that time. It includes model answers that I have written and various additional documents to supplement the lessons such as a homework booklet, practise exam questions, mark schemes, and scaffolded exam questions with essay plans.
The lesson slides are stimulating and the resources cover a variety of skills including those needed for Paper 3. There is a strong focus on exam question practice and knowledge retention.
The homework set for students is based on written answers to exam questions on content which the students have learned in previous lessons. There are also regular knowledge quizzes throughout the lessons.
To support the students’ studies, I have referred to the Oxford and Hodder text books in some of the lessons, where students can find additional notes.
Overall, most of the powerpoints are self contained and can be taught by a teacher at any level of experience and to students of varied ability.

Globalisation Takeaway Homework
FREE SoW: How does the UK’s foreign policy continue to have global effects?
I’d love a review!
This unit is created in line with my personal passion for globalisation and Britian’s place in the world. This unit provides pupils with a comprehensive understanding of the motivations, stakeholders and systems behind how Britain continues to be a global player. This unit could be delivered to any KS3 year group and is a great way to get pupils learning about globalisation and moving them towards become critical thinkers.
This Unit is my favorite to deliver and has been refined over the last two years.
Happy to answer questions and any feedback appreciated…
