This resource gives an overview of the work of Sondheim, with particular reference to** Sweeney Todd**. It discusses his characteristic musical style, with recommended works to focus on. Additionally there are 4 SAMS, based on the type of questions that students will come across in their exam. A great deal of research has gone into creating these questions. Answers are provided at the end of the booklet, although these answers are by no means exhaustive. I know that all of the expert teachers out there will no doubt find extra answers to some of the questions I have set.
