Easter display resources vocabulary page borders alphabet

This resource bundle includes large and small alphabet lettering, word posters and page borders. They are bright and engaging and based around the theme of Easer. The resources are PDF documents so the large lettering can be used as a title but if printed smaller can become literacy support or a letter snap game. The word posters could be printed large and used for display purposes but could also be printed smaller and used as a writing support in continuous provision or within a lesson. The speaking and listening prompt sheet can be used as part of an intervention or a class discussion on Easter. You will find this sheet at the end of the words document. The page borders could be used as appealing writing frames within continuous provision but could also be used to support writing on the theme of Easter. They could be used in conjunction with a small world display or an immersive classroom experience. Whatever you do with them is up to you but save time and download them all now!

Prehistoric art primary history slides

(0)
A set of beautiful slides that investigate prehistoric art on cave walls, in the landscape and on objects - all found in the UK. They can be used as the focus for a lesson or as a bit of fun on the side of a larger history topic or art topic. Some of the slides ask the children to guess what they can see in the art and others ask them to think about the significance of the shapes and patterns of the art. They are editable and can be adapted to suit the needs of your topic / class.

Iron Age torc design project primary history powerpoint slides

(0)
An art project based around Iron Age Torc designs. The slides take the student on a journey looking at the designs of torcs from the Snettisham Hoard, found in Norfolk. They are introduced to the parts of a torc and the methods of creation. Once a range of torc designs have been examined, the last slide asks the students to design and create their own. This project can be carried out using pipe-cleaners , straws (covered in aluminium), clay or florist modelling wire. A great way to link history and art and develop an appreciation of prehistoric artistic skills. Please be aware that the slides have been created in microsoft 365. If you are using a previous version of powerpoint you may not be able to see the fonts properly but the information and images will be on the slides, you might just need to rearrange a little.
