This download contains two choices of A3 printable board-games.
They focus on key-word revision and student-generated quiz challenges and are suitable for any KS4 or KS5 classroom where students need to practice key-words.
Please ignore the broken preview files and see the cover picture for an accurate showing of the games: students will be impressed by the high-level of graphic design thatâs gone into these.
Students will require a dice/dice-app and tokens to move around the printable boards.
Give students 5-10 minutes to get their quiz questions ready and then they can enjoy playing this game for the rest of the lesson!
A non-subject-specific Christmas quiz, featuring 50 well-presented questions, and an answer sheet.
The quiz also includes a word-search (on screen) and a couple of anagram rounds.
The questions are all Christmas-related and not connected to a specific school-subject: it is, therefore, suitable for all teachers, or for form/tutor groups.
Differentiation can easily be achieved by changing quiz group sizes. The quiz is suitable for KS3-5.
Completing and peer-marking the 50-question quiz should take the best part of a 1-hour lesson.
This bundle contains a Christmas quiz for RE teachers* and a selection of seven Christmassy video-worksheets that can be used with any video (or series of videos) to enhance learning and foster engagement.
*Weâve also included our previous version of the quiz for free, just in case you prefer it!
Together they comprise an easy and fun Christmas lesson (you might wish to shorten the quiz if you wish to do this).
They can also be used individually to constitute multiple Christmas lessons. I am confident you will find the video-learning worksheets especially versatile and useful throughout the month building up to the Christmas break.
The resources are suitable for any age group: the quiz can be differentiated easily by changing team sizes.
Please see individual items for more details.

51șÚÁÏ Adam Godwin (2018)
A professionally designed Christmas quiz for teachers of Geology to use with KS3-5 students, featuring 60 well-presented questions, and an answer sheet.
The quiz also includes a word-search (on screen) and a couple of anagram rounds.
Fifty of the questions are all Christmas-related and not connected to a specific school-subject: the final ten are subject specific and deal either with GCSE terminology of âfun factsâ.
Differentiation can easily be achieved by changing quiz group sizes. The quiz is suitable for KS3-5.
Completing and peer-marking the 60-question quiz should take the best part of a 1-hour lesson.
This download contains an editable 50+ slide PowerPoint featuring the most important debates relevant to AS/A2 Economics students (using the new AQA specification). It also contains a ârandomiserâ slide so that debate topics can be selected randomly.
Debates take an âagree or disagreeâ format: students are asked to move from one side of the room to the other depending on their response to the statements that appear.
All topics are taken from the latest AQA Economics (7135, 7136) specification though this product is relevant to all KS5 teachers of the subject. A seperate debate generator has been created for the Business Studies specification: you can find it in our shop.
This format allows teachers to foster debates and discussions between students, it can be helpful to ask students to justify their reasons and use sensible arguments. Questions you might ask include:
âWhat is wrong with the other position in your view?â,
âWhy did you choose to stand where youâre standing?â,
âWhy do you think people disagree so much about this question?â
It is best to encourage students to pick a side rather than float in the middle: but it can also be fun to allow students to change side as the debate progresses, so that students can try to persuade one another to move.
This is a great resource to use at the end of lessons if you have a few minutes left, it can be used as an entire lesson or revision session.
