Domestic Abuse / Violence against men / males form time / tutor time free resource. This lesson gets pupils to discuss some potential myths and facts around male domestic abuse before pupils watch a video clip which demonstrates some of this in action. Pupils then use their prior learning to consider the actions of the victim and the potential consequences. The tutorial ends with where pupils can find further support on male domestic abuse. The video contains adult themes and so would not be suitable for young pupils.

Pornography, PSHE pupil workbook which allows a young person to work independently through tasks and information related to pornography. As well as being a fantastic lesson resource, this would be ideal to use following an incident, for home learning or homework (alongside room for safe discussion). The booklet is 10 pages in total and gets pupils to become aware of some terminology related to pornography and consider the possible consequences of pornography such as addiction and the false realities it gives. It also directs pupils to where they can find further support. Answers for tasks are included in an answer booklet at the end of the workbook.

This is a termly assembly theme plan dated for Term 5 of School Year 2024/25 however the dates can be changed.
The termly theme is Safety and Wellness of Ourselves & Others with each week having a theme related to this topic or an applicable awareness event e.g. Mental Health Awareness Week and Knife Crime Awareness Week.
This plan is designed for a Secondary School however could easily be adapted for Primary School.
The plan includes a UNICEF Rights Respecting Article of the Week which relates to the weekly theme and a short Bible quotation which also relates to the theme.
Each week also sets out awareness events that are applicable.
Some guidance is given as to what you might like to focus an assembly on each week as well as some thoughts for the week.

Deepfake / AI generated images PSHE lesson which looks at the different ways young people might face harm from AI generated deepfake images including, having deepfake sexual images shared, being blackmailed using deepfakes and risky conversations with AI chatbots. The deepfake lesson then considers how to reduce the risk of harm from deepfakes and what to do if you do become a victim of AI generated content as well as the law around creating and sharing intimate deepfake images and using them for the purpose of blackmail. This deepfake lesson uses the Protect Us video aimed at highlighting the dangers for young people to decision makers and the Childline video by social media content creators The Charvas who look to highlight how to identify red flags in conversations with strangers.
