Everything you need to deliver 6 Biology practical activities in the lab. Easily adaptable and suitable for Year 7, 8 and 9. Some would also be suitable in GCSE. The slides for each activity include the apparatus needed, method, results and conclusion/evaluation. I have been using these 6 activities in KS3 for several years now and they work very well, they are one hour long approximately. They can also be performed as demonstrations.
Heart and lung dissection
Burning Candles
Measuring cardiac output - this practical does not require a lab and could also be conducted in an online lesson.
Respiration in Yeast
Proper use of the microscope.
Growing bacteria: this is one of my favourites because they enjoy it a lot.
Check the slides’ notes for some extra info.
Coincides with Exploring Science textbook/scheme of work, but can be used alongside any other SOW.
Technician notes and basic risk assessment are included for all practical activities in an excel document.

Constructive feedback would be much appreciated.
Power point slides I currently use to deliver fully the unit “Transport in mammals” for AS Biology. The slides follow Cambridge syllabus (9700) but they are easily adaptable to others. The topic is divided in:
Intro: starter activity
Transport system in animals: outlines the need for a transport system
The mammalian circulatory system: describes the main features of the circulatory system
Blood vessels: function and wall structures of arteries, veins and capillaries. With a summary table.
Tissue fluid: composition and formation. It includes past paper questions and answers
Blood: components and function. It includes Hb, dissociation curve, Bohr shift and carbon dioxide transport.
The heart: external and internal structure.
Some activities to check student’s understanding also included at the end with some past paper multiple choice questions
