Everything you need to deliver the unit “plant transport” for GCSE Biology in power point slides (more than 30 slides). It follows Cambridge syllabus (0610/0970) and Cambridge IGCSE endorsed book by Jones and Jones Third edition, but it is easily adaptable to others. The topic is divided in 3 parts: 8.1 Xylem and phloem 8.2 Transport of water 8.3 Translocation of sucrose and amino acids **Progress check: **some slides contain revision activities for the different parts of the topic. End of unit questions: some slides offer revision activities that are more challenging. Another power point offers the slides for the students to fill them in. The slides have been prepared in power point . All pictures have been sourced from the creative commons website or shapes. The power point is very easy to navigate for students to be able to use it for revision.

I currently use these slides to teach the unit of plants to my Year 9 groups. All files are editable to adapt them to your needs. The slides can be taught over 4-5 lessons The topic is divided in 7 parts that include slides with information about: Photosynthesis. Mineral salts: diagram. Uses of water. Flowers Pollination Fertilisation Fruits End of unit questions Revision: 20 minutes of revision activities + slides to check the proper answers. I use it as revision before the exam. Some slides contain notes for extra guidance. Included: unit targets to use as checklist and revision guide slides. I give these two files to my students for them to prepare the assessment.
