What is it?
Zones of Regulation check-in board display and a Colour Monster themed visual aid too.
How do you use it?
1.Print out as A3.
2.Stick velcro to the ‘Zones of regulation’ display.
3.Stick the other side of the velcro to photographs of your children.
4. Model how to ‘check-in’ and move your photo to the different zones, use the langauge from the Colour Monster display to support your check-ins.
How have I used it?
I use this as part of my morning circle in an SEN class.
I model how I am feeling, put my face in the correct zone, then the children take it in turns to add their face. Adults then model moving around the zones throughout the day, with the children then doing the same once they have learned the routine.
