A worksheet (one male picture and one female picture) So learners can think about their own values and what would be important to them when looking for a career or job searching.

Encourage discussion around what is non negotiable for them? Could they work for a company that had different values to them?

Then use the ‘shopping list’ to write down what they are looking for in a role. For example:
Something creative
A job that is different every day
Something flexible
A role that allows me to develop

Get the learners to number the list starting from 1 as the most important and then upwards. Encourage group discussion.

Extension task - as learners to start researching companies paying particular interest to the companies values page on their website.

This activity helps learner to understand what is important to them and can give them clarity on future decisions.
