Primary PSHE - Year 5 - Protecting Our Environment Mini-Unit This 2-week scheme of work is taken from the [ EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme](/teaching-resource/primary-pshe-package-12645709). Our progressive curriculum builds sequentially year-on-year, culminating in the Year 5 Protecting Our Environment unit, which deepens students' understanding of environmental issues and climate change. Students will explore key concepts such as the causes of climate change, the importance of sustainable living, and actions we can take to protect the planet. They will also learn about the role of democracy in addressing environmental challenges, examining ways individuals can influence government policies on climate change and environmental protection.
