Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy - a one hour lesson designed for KS4 students preparing for the Edexcel Relationships poetry anthology questions or for unseen poetry exam questions for any of the exam boards like AQA, Eduqas, OCR and WJEC. The lesson explores key themes, how the extended metaphor of the onion works, as well as aiding students in writing the start of a comparative poetry question.
