Part 1: Reading
In this part, students will read a passage about the cell theory. They will learn about past scientists and their contributions to the cell theory.Afterward, they will use the information in the passage to complete a post reading worksheet.
Part 2: The Plant and Animal Cell Organelles
In this part, students will cut organelles and paste them into an empty plant and animal cell. This will help them learn the organelles in both plant and animal cells. After completing the cut-and-paste activity, they will play bingo to review the names of the organelles.
The resource can be easily integrated into your existing teaching materials, used as a stand-alone, or even as a review at the end of the unit.
