PSHE Lesson – Understanding the Role of a School Council | Student Voice & Leadership | KS3 / KS4

This fully resourced and editable 1-hour+ PSHE lesson introduces students to the purpose and power of school councils, helping them understand how student voice contributes to school improvement, democracy, and leadership development. Through group activities and scenario-based tasks, students will explore how to be effective representatives and problem-solvers within their school community.

Aligned with the statutory RSHE guidance, this lesson is ideal for Key Stage 3 or 4 and can be delivered during PSHE, tutor time, or leadership enrichment sessions.
