This resource tackles how to structure a persuasive writing piece, and breaks down how to write a paragraph. This gives an example first, breaking it down into boxes for the children, so they can see how a full paragraph can be formed. The follow up activity can be done in groups, pairs, or individually.

This resource is printable, and has a sheet that can be written on by students. This lesson has been used for a Primary 5 class, but can be used for KS1 or early KS2 pupils. It gives children a chance to work with an example, think about up-levelling the work, and then come up with their own ideas afterwards too.
