Nouveau realists were looking for new ways of making art, and they tended to see the world as an image from which they could take parts and incorporate them into their works—as they sought to bring life and art closer together. They declared that they had come together on the basis of a new and real awareness of their “collective singularity”, meaning that they were together in spite of, or perhaps because of, their differences.
In this wonderful series of art packs I aim to introduce you to these amazingly creative and inspirational artists, who were so different in many ways, and still together, added long lasting heritage to the art world.
This pack includes background information on Nouveua Realism and both artists,6 hands-on, process art projects inspired by Yves Klein and further 5 detailed and explained drawing and painting projects (pastels, coloured pencils and gouache) inspired by Wayne Thiebaud.
