Lesson Title: Mindfulness – How Being Present Supports Mental Health (PSHE / Wellbeing / RSE)
This calm, reflective KS3/KS4 PSHE lesson introduces students to mindfulness as a practical strategy to support emotional wellbeing. Through guided exercises, discussion, and scenario reflection, students explore how mindfulness helps reduce anxiety, improve focus, and build resilience in everyday life and learning.

Lesson Aims:

Understand what mindfulness is and how it supports mental health

Reflect on how mindfulness can help with exam stress, sleep, self-esteem, and confidence

Analyse how mindfulness benefits education, relationships, and overall wellbeing

Create a personal plan for applying mindfulness in daily life
