This resource of 15 pages provides a lot of practice on linear function and equation of a line. It consists of 9 parts as each part contains various problems.

Part 1. Linear function recognition (3 problems)

Students identify linear functions by equations, graphs and set of points.

Part 2. Graphing linear functions (10 problems)

Part 3. Evaluating linear functions (5 problems)

Part 4. Finding the slope of a linear function/line (4 problems)

Students find the slope from the equation of the line, from 2 points, from tables and graphs.

Part 5. Points of intersection of the graphs of two linear functions/two lines (5 problems)

Students determine whether two lines intersect and if they intersect students find the coordinate of the intersection point algebraically and graphically.

Part 6. X- and y-intercepts (8 problems)

Part 7. Writing the equation of a line (12 problems)

Students will write the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line from two points, from slope and a point and from a graph.

Part 8. Finding the area of a plane figure (2 problems)

Students will find the area of a figure formed by the graphs of linear functions and coordinate axes.

Part 9. Finding the slope given the y-axis intercept and a point; Increasing and decreasing linear functions (4 problems)

There are grids and empty boxes provided for each problem where students to show their work.
