This is aimed at KS4 as an assist to narrative writing for GCSE. This stand alone lesson can be used as an introduction to creative writing.
In the example text I have used the opening from George Orwell novel 1984. This can be substituted with your own text.
This enables the learner to:
Pick out evidence and themes from a text
Use a stimulus to create their own piece of writing
Explore the features of a dystopian text and how the writer incorperate them into their writing.
