Full scheme of work (min. 10 lessons) including lesson slides and handouts for a persuasive writing unit using a range of protest speeches, both historical and contemporary.

Covers analytical writing skills, rhetorical appeals and devices, performance elements, and prepares students to write and perform a persuasive speech similar to that expected for the GCSE Spoken Language component.

Aimed at Y9 but could be used with Y8, Y7 or KS4 as part of GCSE Language with minor tweaks.
